See it. Pin it. Get it.
See something free on the curb? Pin it. Someone nearby can grab it before it disappears.
CurbPin is a real-time, community-verified curbside discovery network. Spot something useful, mark where it is, and help a nearby neighbor find it while it is still there.

How CurbPin works
See it. Pin it. Pass it on.
- 1
Drop a live pin
Take a quick photo, pin the street, and choose the most useful category. The report time is recorded automatically.
- 2
Nearby people see it
Neighbors see what is available, how far away it is, and how recently someone reported or verified it.
- 3
Verify what happened
Tap still there, fetched, or gone. One quick street check prevents everyone else from making a wasted trip.
About
Built for what is outside right now
Our goal is to make CurbPin the fastest real-time neighborhood network for free things physically sitting outside right now. There are no prices, listings to negotiate, shipping fees, or pickup appointments. Freshness is the product: every pin shows when it was posted or last verified, so neighbors know what is still there, fetched, or gone.
Reuse locally. Waste less.
Useful things deserve another use
CurbPin helps useful items stay in use longer, reduces avoidable waste, conserves the resources already invested in them, and connects free goods with nearby people who can use them.
Reuse comes first. When an item is no longer safe or usable, follow local recycling and disposal guidance instead of posting it for pickup.
Questions
Finding and sharing free curbside stuff
- How do I find free stuff near me?
- Open the CurbPin map to see nearby curb alerts. Search for furniture, appliances, toys, building materials, and other free curbside finds. The map works anywhere someone pins what they saw on the street.
- Does CurbPin only work in certain cities?
- No. You can pin and browse anywhere. Nearby neighbors verify what is still on the curb, so the map stays useful wherever people actually use it.
- Is curbside loot the same as trash?
- Not always. Many curbside giveaways are reusable items that a neighbor no longer needs. Check the photo, condition, location, and local rules before taking anything.
- Can I post a free giveaway?
- Yes. If an item is genuinely free and placed at the curb for pickup, take a clear photo, add a useful label, and pin the street without exposing private information.
- How does CurbPin know whether something is still there?
- Every pin carries a report time. Neighbors can verify it as still there, fetched, or gone, keeping availability current without requiring messages between strangers.
- How does CurbPin support reuse?
- CurbPin makes reusable curbside items easier to discover while they are still available. A confirmed pickup may help an item stay in use, but CurbPin does not count every post as waste diverted.
